Not only the ENT specialist, but also the general practitioner can test the hearing with a tuning fork in a simple way. Also the neurologist uses the tuning fork in some cases. But also in speech therapy and alternative medicine the tuning fork belongs to the daily aids. KaWe offers various models, suitable for different applications.

The best known tuning fork is the Rydel-Seiffer for (neurological) research. This calibrated tuning fork with detachable dampers and base, is adjustable and made of high quality stainless steel. The Rydel-Seiffer vibrates at a frequency of C 64 Hz / C 128 Hz. Without dampers, the tuning fork vibrates at a frequency of 128 Hz and is therefore often used for ear examinations and nerve disorders.

Stethoscope, Reflex hammer and Tuning fork: with these simple tools you can obtain a complete insight into your patient, making these tools indispensable in every medical practice.

KaWe sets high standards for her tuning forks and the production of them. The tuning forks are not manufactured automatically or on a conveyor belt: each tuning fork is tuned manually separately and several times during the production process, which guarantees the preservation of the tones and the accuracy of this research instrument.
